Hungry Horrors is a fun little game. It is an honest throwback to 8-bit classics that takes you straight back to Saturday mornings spent glued to a CRT television.
More importantly, it strikes the right balance between creepy folklore and pure comedy. The monster covered in blinking eyeballs ends up being more adorable than terrifying, while an 8-bit dragon swallowing a princess whole plays out more like slapstick comedy than actual nightmare fuel.

Lost In Tandem is a new co-op puzzle game from Juice Box Studios and Tempete Studio, and it’s already living rent-free in my head. You play as a robot named Mech-Ute and a young girl making their way through a gorgeous, post-apocalyptic world, solving puzzles and piecing together what happened to everyone else. Think a more colorful cousin of Playdead’s Inside, minus the existential dread.
